Trillium Nature Center – Nature Playground

Location: North Java, NY

This Buffalo Audubon Society nature center (formerly Beaver Meadows Nature Center) is located 1.25 hours southwest of Rochester, NY and 40 minutes from Buffalo. A short walk from the interpretive center is the nature play area. There are some neat features for kids such as a swing, a willow tunnel and a willow hut, balance structures made of logs and stumps, a musical structure, and more! There is a pavilion here with picnic tables. There are several nature trails nearby and restrooms are available when the nature center is open.

The nature center has a carry-in/carry-out policy – garbage cans are not available. Pets are NOT permitted at the nature center or on the trails.
