Location: Victor, NY
This beautiful trail network is located 20 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY. This sanctuary is private property belonging to the Burroughs Audubon Nature Club (BANC). Members may use the trails without a fee. Non-members may also use the trails but should donate to contribute to trail maintenance.
The trails pass through woodlands and wetlands and along the Irondequoit Creek. There is a lovely “Evergreen Education Area” with some benches and informational signs as well as a spruce grove. There is a stroller friendly and accessible trail if you follow the Locust Trail to Autumn Olive Trail to Swamp Trail boardwalk. The other trails are uneven and would not be stroller friendly. Dogs or other pets are NOT allowed, even on leash.
