Location: Clinton, NY
This nature area is located 2 hours east of Rochester, NY. Root Glen is a botanical garden and wooded trail system located on the Hamilton College campus. There are beautiful bridges over a creek, tree identification signs, benches, evergreen trees, spring ephemerals, and some sculptures. The path is crushed red stone with some pretty steep hills, therefore it might be tricky with a stroller or wheelchair. Leashed dogs are allowed. Bicycles are NOT allowed.
