Location: North Chili, NY
It was difficult to find information on this Fairy House Trail located 20 minutes west of Rochester, NY. To find the trail, we entered Black Creek Park from Union Street. At the first fork in the road, we turned left toward Woodside lodge and parked in the first parking lot (not the playground parking area). We walked down the wide path with two large rocks and found the entrance to the fairy trail on the right. The entrance can be found near this GPS: 43.0811894, -77.7984615, shown with a red pin on the map below.
This trail has a handful of small fairy houses in the ground as well as some decorated bird houses hung in the trees. My kids really enjoyed finding them! When we reached the large field, we walked down the hill on the grass which brought us right back to the parking lot! The trail was narrow and probably not stroller friendly.
This trail is nearby a playground and a stroller friendly path around a pond which goes through a small wooded section and then circles back to the playground.
