Bicentennial Trail

Location: Pultneyville/Williamson, NY

This lovely 0.8-mile hiking trail is located 35 minutes east of Rochester, NY near the shore of Lake Ontario. We parked in the small parking lot right near the fence to the water treatment facility. There are a couple signs and arrows showing the way to the trail across the road. The trail starts by crossing a tiny bridge and turning left along the fence. The grassy path goes alongside of the apple orchard (do not trespass onto the orchard property!) There was a strong scent of rotting apples in mid-November! The trail then enters the woods and does a loop with a short boardwalk section. The trail map shows a very small loop around a pond but we did not do this.
