Huckleberry Swamp (SEASONAL)

Location: North Rose, NY

🚨Note: this trail is NOT always open for hiking! I believe it’s closed every Monday for trail maintenance and also closed in the fall and winter!! Their Facebook page is the best way to get updated information🚨

This is a gorgeous and peaceful wetland trail 45 minutes east of Rochester! There is a 0.6 mile loop trail with lots of boardwalks and tons of nature! There is also a side trail that’s 0.5 miles each way, out and back (1 mile total) which was more wooded with roots. There was a sign for a fairy trail (I did not see any fairy houses though) and they also do a seasonal story walk.
