Location: Mendon/Pittsford, NY
This unnamed trail is located in Mendon Ponds Park, 20 minutes south of Rochester, NY. We started at the East Esker Loop Parking lot next to the kennel and then crossed Pond Road. This is the start of the Southern Meadow Trail but we made the first left onto the unnamed trail (the grey trails near number 19 on the Trail Map). The trail went through some woods which led to a beautiful evergreen forest. The trail was very narrow! We then followed the trail which made a loop around the outside of the evergreens following and returned to the start. The entire route was 1.3 miles, but could be shorter if you just hike to the evergreens and skip the loop. There were some hills and rough terrain, so this would NOT be considered stroller friendly. Unsure of the trail surface because it was covered in snow! I will update when I return in warmer weather. The route I took is shown below.
