Sawyer Park

Location: Greece, NY

This lovely 16.4 acre park is located 20 minutes west of Rochester, NY. Tucked away from the busy Long Pond Road, this park is actually quite peaceful. Near the entrance there is a nice area with tall evergreen trees, a pavilion, bathrooms, and a brand new playground as of summer 2025. If you cross the bridge beyond the parking lot, you will enter the woods. This wooded nature trail is also a disc golf course. I hiked the smaller loop, which was about 0.33 miles long, but did not hike the larger loop yet. The trail goes along the beautiful Round Pond Creek. Be sure to keep an eye out and respect all signs showing the border between the park and private property. The dirt trail has roots and may not be stroller friendly.
