Location: Olcott, NY
This park is located on the shore of Lake Ontario, 1.5 hours west of Rochester, NY. It’s a lovely view with the lake down below, with many benches and picnic tables as well as an observation deck overlooking the water. There are many shady trees, restrooms, pavilions, and tic tac toe shelters. We also visited Ye Olde Log Cabin – a tiny free museum with many artifacts from earlier days in the region. We did not explore the rest of the park, but according to the map below there are playgrounds (including an inclusive playground), tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, and a splash park. Leashed dogs are allowed. Across the street is a Memorial Tree Garden. Down the street is the adorable Olcott Beach Carousel Park which has 25 cent rides for little kids under 52 inches!
