The trail passes by ponds, goes through both hemlock and hardwood forests, and leads to a photo blind and a side trail to lookout tower. There are boardwalks, bridges, benches, a swinging bench, and some informational signs. The trail is a mix of dirt, gravel, and grass and would not likely be stroller friendly. Dogs are NOT allowed at the nature center.
