Hi there! My name is Carrie and I love to share hikes, viewpoints, stroller-friendly paths, and more around the Rochester, NY area.
I have always been an avid hiker. My husband and I hiked the 48 4,000-foot mountains in New Hampshire and a bunch of state high points. I always wondered what our hiking would look like once we had kids. After my kids were born, I began to seek out stroller-friendly paths in the Rochester area. I enjoyed sharing these adventures and created the Instagram account @StrollerFriendlyRochester. However, as my kids got older we started doing some non-stroller friendly hikes as well, so the account changed to @HikeAndStrollRochester!
I love sharing the many trails, hikes, and viewpoints around the Rochester, NY area including day trips to the surrounding areas. I try to provide as much information as I can about our experience to help others get a sense of the trail, though I may get things wrong from time to time!
