Location: Jamestown, NY
This nature center is located 2.5 hours southwest of Rochester, NY and 1.5 hours south of Buffalo, NY. There are several hiking trails as well as hands-on activities inside of the nature center. There are also some beautiful spots to visit just outside of the nature center building, including a birds of prey enclosure with a small boardwalk with informational signs and gardens. We saw a red-tailed hawk and an American kestrel. There are also picnic areas, a Little Free Library, and several gardens including a Food Garden where you can taste different vegetables and plants.
