Braddock Bay is located 20 minutes northwest of Rochester, NY near Lake Ontario. This trail was really beautiful with pine trees, some benches, and a tree tunnel. There are signs about what to do if you see an owl, but we didn’t see any. There is a big loop and also a few small offshoot trails. There is also a hawkbanding blind, but there was no one there when we hiked by. The red trail was fine but the blue trail that goes all the way to the lake was VERY flooded and we couldn’t make it! If you want to hike to the lake, wait until a dry spell. AllTrails says the loop plus the trail to the lake is roughly 1.6 miles total.

Take precautions in the Braddock Bay area during hunting season.
