Location: Scottsville, NY
We really enjoyed this peaceful park about 25 minutes southwest of Rochester, NY. It is located along Oatka Creek. in Scottsville. There were two benches overlooking the creek at the “Oatka Overlook”. There is a bridge, known as the “George Bridge”, more benches, picnic tables, and a grassy field. From Canawaugus Park, you can hike part of the 90-mile trail of the Genesee Valley Greenway State Park. This trail seemed stroller friendly.
We also walked across the George Bridge and took the path labeled “Scottsville Boardwalk” that connects to Canal Street. There actually was no boardwalk (I found an old video about it being taken down several years ago). This dirt trail was narrow and not stroller friendly.
