🚨 note: the storywalk at Casey Park has been removed due to vandalism. 🙁 They will reconsider it for the spring and I’ll update this page if I hear an update! 🚨
Casey Park, about 20 minutes east of Rochester, has a lovely trail next to a long, narrow lake. The trail was wide and flat and stroller friendly for about a mile with a little bit of grass and a small hill at the start. However, I have read reviews that the trail becomes very steep, narrow, and rocky when it curves around to the north side of the lake so we turned around and avoided that part. There was a little poison ivy along the sides of the trail, but the path was wide enough that we were able to avoid it. The trail has a StoryWalk that starts just behind the two playgrounds. There is also a little splash pad with three stone animals that spray water located across the park as well as a small beach. We walked through the grass across the fields to reach the splash pad and beach, but there is also another parking lot nearby.
AllTrails: Casey Park Trail Loop (this is for the whole loop around the lake. The stroller friendly, StoryWalk is just the southern shore of the lake)
