Location: Huron, NY
This beautiful state park is located one hour east of Rochester, NY along the shore of Lake Ontario. The 1.3 mile Bluff Trail is the most iconic trail in the park with incredible views over the bluffs and lake. There are a few ways to reach this trail. You can park at the main parking lot and take the 0.2 mile Meadow Trail to the west end of the trail. The trail goes through beautiful woods with a small boardwalk section. After about 0.7 miles you reach the bluffs area with several beautiful viewpoints. The other end of the trail can be accessed by the eastern parking lot. The trail is not stroller friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed. There are restrooms at the parking areas. There is a fee to enter the park certain times of the year.
There are steep cliffs and dropoffs along this trail. Please us extreme caution and stay away from the edge.
