Location: Rochester, NY
The beautiful arboretum at Durand Eastman Park is located within the city of Rochester, NY near the shore of Lake Ontario. The arboretum extends between Zoo Road, Pine Valley Road, and Sweet Fern Road. There are several parking areas along Zoo Road where you can get out and view many varieties of trees. (Zoo Road is closed to vehicles during the winter season). You can walk through the grass or along the road – there are no established trails that I have found. Also in the arboretum you can find the Pinetum and the Daffodils.
