Fishers Park

Location: Victor, NY

This park is located 25 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY. There are five miles of trails in the park that include wooded hillsides, wetland areas, and trails along Irondequoit Creek. There are many small wooden bridges. At the entrance on Main Street there is a picnic area along the creek and porta potty. At the entrance on Wangum Road there are pickleball courts, a tennis court, free little library, picnic tables, and pit toilet.

We only hiked a small section of the park – the red trail along the creek starting at the Main Street entrance. We saw beautiful spring ephemeral flowers blooming along the path in late April and several informational signs about the trees along the path. The path is dirt and NOT very stroller friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed.
