This beautiful nature preserve has so much to offer! Wooded paths, creek views, and wildflower meadows full of butterflies make this trail great in every season.
We visited this lovely nature preserve to look for wildflowers and we found a ton as well as many bumblebees and butterflies! We parked at the Wilkinson Road trailhead, hiked the trail along the creek to the wildflower meadow, and then walked the yellow trail loop through the meadow. The meadow wall was grassy and probably wouldn’t work for a stroller. There was also a sign in the parking lot that this was a location on the Underground Railroad.
