Location: Webster, NY
This beautiful nature preserve is located 15 minutes east of Rochester, NY near the shore of Lake Ontario. This preserve has an old-growth forest, a field, and a small meadow. The Big Field Trail is a 1.2 mile loop around the perimeter of the big field. There are two other trails in the preserve: the Big Woods Trail (0.7-mile round trip out and back) and the Meadow Trail (1/2 mile round trip loop). This preserve also connects to the Whiting Road Nature Preserve and the Hojack Trail.
