Location: Rochester, NY
This “hidden” sidewalk is located along Lake Ontario in the City of Rochester. We parked at the northwest corner of the parking lot at Ontario Beach Park (map link) and walked west about a half mile along Beach Ave until we reached the sidewalk entrance near Clematis Ave. We walked about 0.4 mile down the hidden sidewalk to the other entrance near Cloverdale St and then walked back. The views of the lake were gorgeous and all of the flowers were so pretty.
A few notes:
- Bicycles, scooters, or any other wheeled vehicles are NOT permitted.
- All of the property along the hidden sidewalk is private property so please stay on the path.
- There are restrooms and an inclusive playground at Ontario Beach Park.
