Horizon Hill Conservation Area

Location: Perinton, NY

This beautiful hiking area, which is part of the Crescent Trail, is located 15 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY. We parked at the Crescent Trail Horizon Hill Trailhead on Garnsey Road. There is a whole network of trails, including a big loop trail you can find on AllTrails. However, we followed only the blue trail markers all the way up to the Woodcliff Hotel for the beautiful views from above with flowers. We then took the same blue trail back down for a total of about 1 mile roundtrip. There was definitely some elevation gain and a few steeper sections and the trail is NOT stroller friendly. If you want the view from above without the hike, you can drive up to the hotel and walk over!
