Isaac Gordon Nature Park

Location: Pittsford, NY

We originally tried this trail in the summer but we saw a lot of poison ivy encroaching on the trail, so we turned around and decided to come back in the winter. It was a beautiful hike located north of Mendon Ponds Park. We followed the 1 mile “Glazer Loop” trail shown on AllTrails and the trail map below, though there are several branching trails that could make it longer and some cut throughs that could make it shorter. The path around the field was flat and the wooded part was hilly. The observation deck was a nice spot to stop and rest. We saw deer running across the field and birds! I think the path around the field may be stroller friendly, though I did not try it. The woods may be too hilly and rough for a stroller. Leashed dogs are allowed.
