John L. Brown Memorial Park – Dr. Henry Foster Trail

Location: Clifton Springs, NY

This park and trail are located 45 minutes east of Rochester, NY. This is a super short, mostly flat dirt trail. To reach the trail, we parked at the library and walked past the pavilion and playgrounds to cross the cute bridge over Sulphur Creek. (FYI the bridge is steep and slippery when wet, and doesn’t have safe sides). We then took a right and walked on the grass alongside the creek and then took a left at the woods and walked along the woods until we saw the sign for the Dr. Henry Foster Trail. The trail goes into the woods and is only about 500 feet long and ends back at the grass fields at another sign. Along the trail were informational signs about types of trees.
