Location: Arcadia, NY
This nature preserve is located 45 minutes east of Rochester, NY. I visited in late April and the spring ephemerals were absolutely beautiful. I started by making a quick left and walked a short way down the path to the field of virginia bluebells. I then returned to the trailhead to do the 0.4 mile loop. I got a little confused about the trail and had a hard time figuring out where to turn for the loop – the trail may have been a bit overgrown so hopefully that is sorted! I loved all of the trillium and other flowers along the trail, views of Ganargua Creek, and the little signs identifying different plants. Leashed dogs are allowed. No bikes or hunting. The path is not stroller friendly.
