Letchworth State Park – Wolf Creek

Location: Castile, NY

This park is located 1 hour southwest of Rochester, NY. There are numerous trails and viewpoints throughout the park. The Wolf Creek area has a beautiful wooden bridge and picnic tables along the creek. If you climb the stone stairs, it leads to the Gorge Trail that spans the park. The trail is dirt and is NOT stroller friendly at this location. If you walk a bit down the trail, you can look behind you and see a waterfall through the trees. There are restrooms at this area. Leashed dogs are allowed. There is a fee to enter the park, though the fee is sometimes waived during the winter.
