Location: Rochester, NY
The Maplewood Rose Garden is located in the City of Rochester. This park has grassy paths through many varieties of roses. There are a couple of gazebos, benches under the shade of trees, and a fountain. There is access to the Genesee Riverway Trail and Lower Falls Park (there are stairs down to the trail right by the parking lot or you can cross Driving Park Ave and there is a sloped paved path). In addition there are two historical markers: one for Kelseys Landing, on the Underground Railroad, and one for Casconchiagon, a Seneca village. There was a porta potty when we visited.
The paths are all grass, so this is only stroller friendly you can push your stroller on mowed grass, but avoid the steps.
