Location: Perinton, NY
This beautiful hiking area is located 15 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY. I parked at the “Crescent Trail Dumpster Entrance” on Kreag Road. This 1.5 mile loop through the woods was very hilly, steep, and narrow at times and therefore is not very little kid-friendly. It was a great workout though and very peaceful. According to the official website, don’t ride bikes and keep your pets on a leash. There was a wooden Adirondack chair, a few small bridges, and occasional views through the bare trees of distant hills.
