Location: Farmington, NY
This park is located 25 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY. In early May we visited this beautiful park to see the bluebells in bloom along the creek. (Mertensia is the scientific name for Bluebells!) We started by playing at the nice modern playground and then did the hike. According to a sign, “The Rotary Centennial Walking Path is approximately 1/3rd of a mile in length. There are two places to enter (or exit) the trail”. We entered the trail behind the basketball court and exited near the tennis court. The bluebells were beautiful and the trail was short and sweet with views of the creek. This is a must-do spring hike! The trail is not stroller friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed. Watch out for poison ivy!
