Oatka Creek Park – Woodland Trail

Location: Scottsville, NY

Oatka Creek Park is located 30 minutes south west of Rochester, NY. The Woodland Trail follows the yellow trail markers and goes alongside Oatka Creek. The trail itself is 0.82 miles long but needs to be combined with other trails so the total mileage will be longer. The quickest access is from Stewart Road, but can be reached from the main parking area by taking the green trail or a combination of other trails.

The trail is narrow and dirt with plenty of rocks and roots – therefore it is not a stroller friendly trail. There are beautiful spring wildflowers along the trail, including patches of Virginia bluebells near the creek. Leashed dogs are allowed. A porta potty is located at the main parking lot.
