Location: Pittsford, NY
This beautiful meadow of daffodils is located 15 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY in Powder Mills Park. There are two ways to reach the Daffodil Meadow.
- There is a trail that is 0.67 miles each way to the daffodil meadow that I haven’t tried but have been told it is NOT stroller friendly. I will provide more info if I do this trail!
- The route I took was from Thornell Road and is 0.2 miles each way to the daffodil meadow. The start of this end of the trail is located at this GPS: 43.054553, -77.489617. You will see a gate that says “Daffodil Meadow 0.2.” It appears that there may be one parking space along the toad right in front of the gate, but I do not have this confirmed. Instead, we parked at the small parking lot for the Deblase Trail (GPS: 43.054293, -77.492065) and walked about 0.1 mile along and across the street(it’s a busy road without a crosswalk).
After entering the gate, there is a short but rather steep little hill. After the hill (which was a little tricky with a stroller), the path is gravel/stone dust and stroller friendly. It passes the Irondequoit Creek and then leads to the daffodil meadow full of daffodils and some benches.
