Location: Depew, NY
This wonderful nature preserve is located a little over an hour west of Rochester, NY. Brick paths lead to a network of trails and a woodchip path to a natural log play area. This 0.3 mile flat path over crushed stone and mowed grass circles Lily Pond. The trail has views of several other small ponds as well. There are several benches, informational signs, views of some evergreens, and a wooden bridge. There was also a side trail to a tiny boardwalk and viewing deck, but it was taped off when we visited. This is a NY Birding trail and is stroller friendly. Lily Pond Loop connects to the State Symbols Trail and other trails if you want to make a longer loop.
The nature preserve entrance also has a pavilion, restrooms, education center, and a large flower metal sculpture. Dogs are NOT allowed at Reinstein Woods.
