Location: Depew, NY
This wonderful nature preserve is located a little over an hour west of Rochester, NY. Brick paths lead to a network of trails and a woodchip path to a natural log play area. The State Symbols Trail is a 0.1 mile flat stone dust path but can only be reached by hiking the 0.3 mile Lily Pond Loop trail. The State Symbols Trail features signs describing New York’s state symbols as it goes through forest and marsh habitats. This path is stroller friendly and is a NY Birding Trail.
The nature preserve entrance also has a pavilion, restrooms, education center, and a large flower metal sculpture. Dogs are NOT allowed at Reinstein Woods.
