Sanctuary at Crowfield Farm

NOTE: The Sanctuary is closed to hikers during hunting season.

This beautiful nature trail is located 45 minutes east of Rochester, NY. While there are 1.6 miles of trails, we only did a short section of them. There was a grassy road down to a trailhead sign and a porta potty. I entered the wooded path on the red trail and walked straight until I reached a beautiful hillside covered in trillium flowers. I turned left and followed the path to a wooden lean-to with chairs and a firepit. I then completed a loop that took me past a small covered pavilion with a picnic table inside. My entire walk was 0.7 miles and is shown in the image below. I do not know if dogs are allowed. The trail is not stroller friendly. There is also a steep hill at one part that I did not get to.
