Location: Pittsford, NY
This Erie Canalside spot is located 15 minutes east of Rochester, NY. There are old warehouses that have been turned into shops and restaurants. You can walk the Erie Canalway Trail (bikes must be walked in this area), take a boat ride, or enjoy a meal. There is an informational sign and some benches and a shaded pavilion. Please do NOT feed the waterfowl! You can walk over the bridge to visit the Pittsford Public Library or Carpenter Park on the other side of the canal. The paved path is stroller friendly and accessible.
