Location: Penfield, NY
This park is located 20 minutes east of Rochester, NY. This park features meadows, forested and shrub wetlands, and streams. According to the official website, “the primary trails are accessible, made of crushed stone and re-purposed millings from Monroe County and town road projects.” The large outer loop is 1.4 miles, but there are smaller loops and cutoffs to make a shorter trail. The Don Cranston Bridge crosses Commission Ditch.” “There are benches along the path with lovely views over the fields. There is also a bridge and a side “woods trail” that I did not have time to check out.
