Location: Ithaca, NY
This park is located in Ithaca along the shore of Cayuga Lake, 1 hour 45 minutes southeast of Rochester, NY. This beautiful park has so much to offer. This park includes a section of the paved Cayuga Waterfront Trail with beautiful views of the lake and many benches. This path connects to a really neat suspension bridge and a short boardwalk. This then connects to the Renwick Wildwoods Fuertes Bird Sanctuary Loop Trail and other nature trails.
The park also has all-season restrooms, picnic areas, multiple play areas including an inclusive playground, splash pad, carousel, little free library, athletic fields, bocce ball court, fishing, golf course, kayak & paddleboard rentals, and more!
According to the Park Rules: “Dogs shall be permitted in the park but shall not be permitted in the Fuertes Bird Sanctuary or within 100 feet of the Swan Pond, except for on the Cayuga Waterfront Trail or within the Cascadilla Boathouse and around its associated docks.”
