Trillium Nature Center – Beaver Pond Trail

Location: North Java, NY

This Buffalo Audubon Society nature center (formerly Beaver Meadows Nature Center) is located 1.25 hours southwest of Rochester, NY and 40 minutes from Buffalo. The Beaver Pond Trail is located behind the interpretive center. It goes through the woods to the short of Beaver Pond where there are some wooden platforms for viewing wildlife, a few benches, informational signs, a kayak rack, and a fern garden. You can walk down to a small spit that goes out into the pond for even better views.

The nature center has a carry-in/carry-out policy – garbage cans are not available. Pets are NOT permitted at the nature center or on the trails.
