Location: Penfield, NY
This Veterans Memorial Park (not to be confused with the one in Henrietta or the one in Rush) is located 15 minutes east of Rochester. Near the playground is the stroller friendly TotTrail – a short 300-foot paved path with a few fitness stations geared toward kids (monkey bars, curved balance beams, pod toad stools, and a rock bluff climbing structure).
We also walked the paved path toward the amphitheater and found the garden with fairy houses and painted rocks. There is a very short stone dust loop through the little fairy garden. Some of the fairy houses looked like they had seen better days, but my kids enjoyed it! Not sure if it is still there, we visited in September 2023. There are other paved paths throughout the park that we did not check out.
