Location: Webster, NY
This nature preserve is located 20 minutes northeast of Rochester, NY. There is a whole network of trails in this park (described here). We decided to hike the 0.72 mile blue loop which was perfect for my young kids! The forest was beautiful and I can’t wait to explore more of this nature preserve! There are benches and a small brick structure – not sure what it was.
Leashed dogs and biking are allowed. The blue trail was quite flat however the trails are probably not stroller friendly due to roots and uneven terrain. These trails also connect to the Gosnell Big Woods Preserve, Midnight Trail, and the Herman Road Forever Wild Forest.
